Audi R8 : A new world dream

Some says the characteristics of a person can be understood from the car he drives. I poorly believe that because of the huge price difference between the cars and huge income difference among the people. Because I might feel like a monster and might want to act like a devil to the other people on the roads but oppositely I might be driving a Fiat 500 instead of a Lamborghini Diablo. It is just because I can not afford Lamborghini.

Whatever a man affords he always has a dream car in his mind and this is much related to being a man. For me I always have sympathy to Audi cars and I used to own a A3 for a few years. I loved the car but I had to change it into a family car because my first son came to my world and I needed to think about his safety and comfort of our family. I know it seems like I am talking about a very sad story but of course not, I am still happy to have my son and I would never prefer the feeling of having a child to any other cars on the world. However this never keeps me away from dreaming about the high performance cars.

Lately I have checked the new models and I decided to make Audi’s new R8 is my new dream car. Why? Let me try to express. Audi R8 is a sports car but it is not too tiny or too short. It gives you the feeling of having something powerful. The two types of engines for R8, which are 4.2 L FSI V8 and 5.2 L FSI V10, quite impressive when you talk about a powerful engine. The FSI V8 4.2 L Engine of R8 yields 420 hp and V10 5.2 L yields 525 hp at relatively 7800 rpm and 8000 rpm. Ant it takes to reach 60 mph 4.4 sec for 4.2L engine and 3.7 sec for 5.2 L engine.

With these data you can imagine there is not so much difference between Audi and the high class sports cars like Ferrari and Lamborghini in the meaning of performance and power. But you can easily say that there is a difference on the image and reputation. So why would you make a choice for same properties for double price?

Finally I want to add that Audi R8 is for 2 person and this feels like you and your wife \ girlfriend \ or any other friend will share the moment. There will be no worries about the child seating on his safety seat at the back of the car. So turn the music on, volume up, and start feeling the flying itself on the roads.
